A Soul Reared in Rhythm
From opera to silver, I bridged the art of sound with the art of fire. Years of classical training instilled a deep sense of rhythm and structural harmony, which quietly defined my path as a metalsmith. After witnessing the sterile perfection of mass-produced jewelry, I chose to break away from the industrial, craving the raw, honest texture of traditional handcraft.
The Mountain Pilgrimage
I sought out the remote villages of Southeast Guizhou to learn the ancient art of silver-chasing from the masters. Trading concert halls for the artisan’s hammer, I found healing in the heat of the furnace. Every stroke of the hammer demands patience and honesty—a stark contrast to the grand echoes of the stage, yet equally profound. The hand never lies.
